Our understanding of military spouses and their capabilities has evolved over the past 35 years. (We’ll admit, there’s still work to do out there—which is why we are still here.)
Despite what some will tell you, there isn’t a right way to do this life, which is why we at MSCCN work to support all military spouses. From military spouses to military spouses, we are sending our virtual high-fives and hugs to each and every one of you who is making this life work for you.
To those half-way there…
To those awaiting that ETS…
We see you.
To those staying home with kids…
To those volunteering in our schools and communities…
To those building careers against the odds…
To those building businesses,
We are here for you.
To those fighting on behalf of military and Veteran communities and families…
To those working towards justice and equality…
To those spouses who are service members themselves…
We salute you.
What wishes/goals/hopes do you have for the military spouse community?
Set a goal for yourself to figure out your "why", whether it's within your personal or professional life. Once you've done that, make a plan to accomplish whatever it is you wish to achieve. Use your resources, help others when you can, but also, be the reason for your own success.

I love how the military spouse community is open and willing to learn and try new things. You meet a lot of spouses who take action at every post they are assigned to and make the most of their time in each place. It’s amazing to see how many military spouse groups there are at each station continuing to help new spouses meet other spouses and lend a helping hand when needed. They are really starting to use social media outlets to get more participation and pull more military spouses together to feel at home. They are always willing to support each other in any way that they can, and they are passionate and proud to be military spouses.

The thing I love about the military spouse community is that there is no judgment, no prejudice, no pride...just a group of spouses there for one another when it is needed.
