This year has been a year of loss, as our Founders have both lost their mothers, and we say goodbye to our talented editor, Emilie Duck. But through this loss, in a time of reflection, there's growth. It's important to mourn and grieve, but we also aren't stuck in that low point forever, and many bright days are ahead.
In this edition, we interview the Call of Duty Endowment Executive Director, Dan Goldenburg, and he gives great advise for transitioning into a civilian career. The Endowment recently just celebrated a big milestone in veteran job placement, and we were there to celebrate! With the Endowment helping so many veterans into civilian careers, we're grateful he took time to give his advise and experience.
As always, the MSEJ includes our Veteran and Spouse Success stories because we love to brag about our job seekers’ success!
One of our previous writing interns, Adam, poignantly writes about courage and how there are many different ways to be courageous off the battlefield. Another past intern, Charlie, writes about transitioning from being a service member to being a spouse, and the identities they each have.
There's also great expert advice on how interviewers ask questions to see your behavior, so our expert has great tips to nail that interview.
We're so proud of this edition, and can't wait for you to read it!
