It’s May 15th!
We might all celebrate because that means it’s National #ChocolateChipDay (yes, that’s a thing).
But at MSCCN, we’re celebrating because it means our new quarterly MSEJ is out!
In this edition, we are looking back on some of the great events we’ve attended this spring—like the time we’ve spent with National Guard spouses in Washington D.C. and Marine Corps spouses in Fort Worth, Texas. We recount our latest board meeting and CASY’s presentation with IBM at DEAM2018!
We’re also looking forward to this summer. We have information about why (and where) our military youth could work this summer, and one of our amazing Employment Specialists, Star provides a great summer reading option for transitioning service members and families!
As always, the MSEJ includes our Veteran and Spouse Success stories because we love to brag about our job seekers’ success!
One of our writing internship members, Adam explains how to apply hurry up and wait to the civilian job search, and regular writer Amanda follows up on her article about working abroad with a reflection on determining when it’s right to geobach for your career.
