Military Installation Spouse Employment Program Highlights

MSCCN is proud to highlight military installation spouse employment
programs and events in this section.

Beaufort, SC Tri-Command (MCAS Beaufort, MCRD Parris Island, and
Naval Hospital Beaufort) Family Member Employment Assistance
Program (FMEAP)


Counselors: Veronica Perez and Katie Markley

The Tri-Command Family Member Employment Assistance Program in
Beaufort, SC offers a wide variety of employment related assistance
to military spouses and dependants with active duty military sponsors.
The FMEAP program falls under the Marine and Family Services'
Transition Support Section (MRRM) and is co-located with the
Transition Assistance Management Program (TAMP) offices within
the Career Resources Management Center (CRMC).

Services at our installation include:

  • Career Counseling and Assessments
  • Job Search Assistance
  • Education and Training Resources Opportunities
  • Entrepreneur Business Opportunities
  • Referral Service to local and national employers
  • Educational Workshops: R�sum� Writing, Interview Strategies,
    Dress for Success, Job Fair Strategies, Job Search Strategies,
    Federal Employment, and Career Decision Making
  • R�sum� Assistance
  • Information about the current labor market, average salary,
    and wage trends in the area
  • A Career Resource Management Center that is equipped with
    computers with internet access and printing capabilities, a fax
    machine, r�sum� quality paper, copiers, books, DVDs and other
    resources to assist patrons on their job search needs
  • Information and resources outside the military
  • Information and/or assistance in contacting the FMEAP counselor
    at your new duty station
  • Information and assistance about attending Transition Assistance
    Management Programs that would prepare military spouses for a
    smoother transition into the civilian sector. Transition Assistance
    Management Program briefings include Pre-Separation Counseling,
    Survivor Benefit Plan, Veteran Affairs (VA) Medical Review, and
    Transition Assistance Program (TAP)
  • More than seven briefings/workshops are held on a monthly basis

In addition to these resources, we offer patrons the opportunity to be
added to our program e-mail database. This service includes receiving
information about program updates, activities, announcements from
additional services within our installations, and recent employment
vacancies made available to our offices. For more information please

    various careers

  • Educational resources and associated costs

  • Career credentialing and licensing information to include local and
    national requirements

  • Specialized training in specific careers through Regional Occupational
    Programs

  • Resume assistance

  • Employment activities to include Career Fairs, Resume and Interview
    classes, and Employer Contacts

  • Information on additional employment resources outside the military


Family Member Employment Assistance Program (FMEAP) is an instant network
for the military spouse to gain access in a variety of opportunities. The instant
network includes access to:

  1. Federal & Civilian job listings
  2. Job referrals to local, state national employers
  3. Computer labs & internet resources
  4. Volunteer opportunities
  5. Job Skills training through educational opportunities
The Camp Pendleton FMEAP provides assistance in cost effective basic job
search and career management strategies. The FMEAP office provides the tools
required to be successful in the employment industry and the encouragement
to achieve that success. FMEAP invites each and every military spouse to be
who they are and then shows them how to discover what they are meant to do!
