MSCCN
is honored to have these Memoranda of Understanding (MOU)
MSCCN
has unprecedented access to and utilization of military family centers,
located inside every military installation world-wide, as a partner in military
spouse employment efforts.
The United States Navy was the first organization to
support MSCCN with
a Memorandum of Understanding.
Memoranda
of Understanding with the United States Coast Guard, the
United States Marine Corps, and the United States
Air Force followed soon
thereafter, and we are honored by their support. The United
States Army
and MSCCN signed an MOU on Sept 12, 2006.
Additionally, MSCCN is honored to hold a "5-Star" program with the National
Committee
for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) of the
U.S. Department
of Defense.
What is an MOU? A Memorandum of Understanding is a signed agreement between
military leadership and the MSCCN and Pinnacle Foundation Board of Directors,
to act as an employer partner with all branches of the Armed Services and
not as a vendor or contractor.
Who can get an MOU? An MOU is not just
given to "any" organization.
Protocols for MOU are very stringent and strictly enforced. MSCCN
prides itself on
the fact that we have never broken any of our protocols with the
Armed Services.
MSCCN and the MSCCN Pinnacle Foundation are employment partners
with military
family centers in providing and expanding employment programs for
military spouses,
veterans, transitioning military members, war wounded, injured veterans
and their
caregivers. We are not considered a vendor or a contractor.
