About Diversity Military World EXPO2008
The Expo took place at the Gaylord Resort Convention Center
on October 3 and 4, 2008 and had the full support of the DoD.
Presented by Diversity Military World, LLC, the Diversity Military
World Heritage Expo (DMWHE), a historical national two-day event
honored the contributions of people of color and women to America's
national defense and promoted our rich military history nationwide.
The Diversity Military World Heritage Expo focused on the service
of hundreds of thousands of people of color and women who unselfishly
serve and sacrifice today.
The Diversity Military World Heritage Expo also helped inspire
future generations by teaching, showing courage, commitment
and self-determination via the military experience.
The DMWHE also provides an excellent venue to both honor
and support our military in a time of war when the troops
desperately need it.
The threefold Diversity Military World Heritage Expo2008
mission was to:
1) Tell the positive story of diversity in the defense industry by
taking the message directly to a projected audience of at least
30,000 attendees comprised of minorities, women, and influencers.
2) Re-ignite pride in military and civilian service among today's
diverse population by showcasing the richness of diversity in our
military's history.
3) Maintain a high level of diversity in Military/Civilian Retention,
Military/Civilian Recruitment, and among Military Contractors.
