an often hidden labor pool of talented military spouses, veterans,
war wounded, and caregivers of war wounded. The MSCCN team
is comprised of dedicated military spouses with a wealth of
experience in human resources, job placement, marketing, and
management.
MSCCN is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping match great
employers to great job candidates. MSCCN is more than a job
board - we communicate directly with applicants and recruiters.

Because we realize that every corporation has different
requirements and methodologies for recruiting candidates,
we have developed a menu of services that allows companies
of any size to utilize our services.
Some of the many options we offer include:
- Posting logo links on our website to a page that explains
the types of jobs a company offers and why they choose
to hire military-affiliated candidates. At the bottom of
that page is a link to that company's recruitment website.
- Posting job listings in our database to be searched by
potential candidates.
- Access to mining the ever growing and changing candidate
resumes in our database.
- Working with an assigned team member who will be a liaison
to your organization's human resources staff. Our team mem-
bers will pre-screen applicants and provide your staff with
resumes from our candidate database that best meet your
requirements.
- Partnerships with organizations willing to provide special
services and training to assist our candidates to improve
their skills and hiring potential.
- Angel donations - for individuals or companies that
cannot fund a sponorship but wish to donate funds to
assist MSCCN's mission.

Deb Explains MSCCN's Business Model
Allow me to take this opportunity to illustrate the MSCCN’s
sophisticated state of-the-art Talent Management System along
with our superior high touch personal service. Communication
is everything! Because the MSCCN is the only nonprofit military
spouse employment organization in the country, we believe it’s
our duty to reach out to thousands of military spouses in very
personal ways and at the same time, maintain the most
professional attitude possible to provide the type of corporate
example our military spouse applicants have come to expect
from MSCCN.
To create a true network of employers, military spouse job
seekers, and military family centers, we rely on ongoing
communication through a strong web presence, a secure Gateway,
information and articles presented in a variety of publications,
personal phone calls and emails, occasional meetings, and
coordination of activities and programs with all involved.
MSCCN operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit BUSINESS. Sponsorships
and donations fund operations and allow services to be provided
free to military spouses. MSCCN is a very unique business because
of our emphasis on building and maintaining a network that eases
the job search for military spouses AND the recruiting of good
applicants for corporations through the use of technology and
ongoing personal communication.

The MSCCN Team members are proud of the personal touch we
offer to each individual applicant. Our initial contact provides
us with an in-depth understanding of their qualifications and the
type of position they are seeking. We support them throughout
their job search process, assisting them to locate positions near
bases across the United States with military friendly companies
that offer benefits such as training, opportunities to develop
portable skills, and even transfer provisions so careers aren't
interrupted upon transfer to a new duty station.
We offer this same personalized service to our member
companies by making every effort to understand their unique
requirements and provide the services to fill their open job
positions with exceptional, qualified candidates.

We currently participate in over 130 job fairs and Recruit
Military events to get the word out about our services
and our sponsoring corporations to all branches
of the military, spouses, retiring military, veterans,
war wounded, and caregivers of war wounded.
MSCCN publishes the quarterly Military Spouse Employment
Journal (MSEJ) which is posted online and distributed
to military family centers and military spouses
throughout country. Sponsorship opportunities are
available and targeted article submissions are always
welcome.

Companies with a market capitalization above $10 billion who
contribute support and significant resources to MSCCN can
become Charter Subscribers and have an appointed member
sit on MSCCN's Board. Charter Members currently include
